Flash card apps are popping up all over the place. One of the most streamlined and easy to use app in this category is Notecards Lite. A free app that gives users a virtual way to study terms, Notecards offers six different study modes: sequential, shuffle, groups, worst, growing groups, and shrinking.
Terms are presented in order.
Terms are randomly sorted,
The app only has you study terms where you have previously earned lower than your user defined goal percentage.
Users start with a small amount of cards. As the user gets better, the number grows and more terms are added to the session.
This mode lets you practice in the shuffle model, but allows you to “throw out” a card at any time and it will not be presented to you anymore.
As you study, Notecards keep track of your percentage correct so that you can evaluate which terms and sets you are best (or worst) at.
You can share cards among other mobile devices and your Mac computer.
You can only add 10 terms per set and create up to five sets.
