Tomorrow I will be presenting at my first conference since graduation from my doctoral program in August. I’m presenting a research study on the correlation between teacher race, educational level, and school composition, and disproportionate retention rates among elementary school students at GERA. As a graduate student I became quite the scholar of Critical Race Theory and the silent variable that race can be in so many of our interactions. If you are headed down to the conference in Savannah, check the program and stop in. I am happy to be slowly opening up a diverse research agenda. Stop in and say hello!
